Vee Popat is a data-driven, Google Analytics & Ads Certified digital marketing professional with 21 years of strategic, hands-on experience.

Vee is the founder of ColaDigital.ca, a boutique digital marketing agency dedicated exclusively to the marketing of marijuana and cannabis-related products and services.

Vee’s career highlights include strategizing, executing, and managing a 5x viral social media marketing campaign for Nightmares Fear Factory, from 2011-2015.

This international social media campaign resulted in a 10,000% increase in website traffic in 30 days, unprecedented growth in social media engagement, international media attention and a significant increase in revenue for his client.

Vee’s Professional Background

Vee’s professional background includes over a decade of experience in the Canadian music industry working in media relations, radio promotion, and artist marketing for major & indie labels including Universal Music Canada, EMI Music Canada, Virgin Music Canada, Attic Records, and True North Records.

During Vee’s time in the music business (1997-2004), he made significant contributions as part of a team responsible for crafting innovative marketing and promotion campaigns for independent and multinational artists.

In addition, Vee’s digital marketing related professional experience includes:

Implementing SEO strategy and keyword research on over 500 websites, since 2004

Developing consumer-marketing personas for over 300 clients since 2014,
